So What's in the Box?

Here's what's included in your goody box:

A printed copy of a brand new Under the Olive Tree Shawl pattern called 'Coffee Date'. This pattern will be exclusive to members of the Skein and Shawl Club for one month before its official release.
A 100g / 425m skein of 'Toasted Marshmallows' sock yarn
A 20g / 85m mini-skein of 'Espresso' sock yarn
A free digital copy of the pattern sent to you via Ravelry or e-mail once the pattern is officially released
Optional - Extra treats themed around the shawl pattern

About the Pattern

The Coffee Date Shawl is your perfect companion for those cozy coffee shop moments. This asymmetric shawl is crafted to evoke the warmth and charm of your favourite café, using a full skein of sock yarn and a 20g mini-skein.

Starting at the tip, as the pattern grows columns are created using a simple stitch pattern of increases and decreases. The stitches start to shape into soft chevrons, creating beautiful fans of colour.

As you approach the border, the contrast yarn is introduced to break up the columns. These contrast sections use ‘yo, k2tog’ lace stitches between rows of garter stitch, adding a touch of texture to the shawl.

Wrap yourself in the comfort and elegance of the Coffee Date Shawl, and let it be your go-to accessory for those cherished coffee moments, whether catching up with friends over a Cappuccino or sipping on a Flat White and quietly watching the world go by.

The pattern is a surprise and the only clue given is in the photo, but here is an overview of the details:

Shawl Type: Assymetric

Shawl Size: The finished, blocked shawl has a wingspan of 72” (183cm) and a depth of 18” (45.5cm)

The Yarns: You will recieve 1 x 100g / 425m skein of sock yarn and 1 x 20g / 85m 4ply mini-skein

Colourways: 'Toasted Marshmallows' and 'Espresso'

Pattern Instructions: Written and Charted

Stitches Used: Sl1 wyif, knit, purl, kfb, yo, k2tog, ssk, knit-purl-knit in 1, ‘yo, k2tog’ lace stitches

Needle Size: 3.75mm - 80cm circular needle

The needle is not included but it can be added as an optional extra.

The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.

You can order your box now and it will be delivered to you in May.

Option 1:

A printed copy of the 'Coffee Date' shawl pattern. This is a brand new pattern and will be exclusive to members of the Skein and Shawl Club for one month before its official release.
A full size skein and a mini-skein to knit the pattern
A free copy of the pattern sent to you via Ravelry or e-mail once the pattern is officially released in June

Option 2:

All of the above plus some extra goodies!

Sign ups will be open for one week and will close on Thursday 24th April, after which I will get busy dyeing your yarn and choosing the extra goodies. The box will be posted out to you w/c 12th May.
